The Colon Club - colon/rectal cancer education and support

Welcome to The Colon Club! - Colon Cancer (Colorectal Cancer) Education and Support

The Colon Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of colorectal cancer in out-of-the-box ways.  Our goals are to educate as many people as possible, as early as possible, about the risk factors and symptoms of colorectal cancer, and for people to get screened when it's appropriate for them.

Please check out our crazy projects, and visit our message board to read about other survivors, ask questions, share and connect.

After battling colon cancer at the age of 23, Molly McMaster traveled from New York to Colorado on inline skates in a journey called Rolling to Recovery, raising funds, raising awareness, and inspiring people along the way. The Resilience Ride will retrace this journey in the summer of 2010 in support of The Colon Club. Andrew Hudon of Lake George, New York, one of the people inspired by Molly's original journey, will ride from Boulder, Colorado to the same spot in Glens Falls where Molly departed from exactly ten years before. In so doing Andrew and his fellow riders will celebrate the spirit of resilience of all those whose lives have been touched by cancer.
